The Board of East African Cables PLC wishes to make the following announcements;

1. Appointment of Director

Cable Holdings (Kenya) Limited has been appointed as
a Corporate Director to the East African Cables Board
effective 28th of August 2017.

2. Resignation of the Chief Executive Officer

The Board has received and accepted the resignation of Mr.
Peter Arina as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company
effective 31st August 2017. Further to this, the Board has
appointed Mr. Paul Muigai as the acting Chief Executive
Officer. Until this appointment, Mr. Muigai has been the
Company’s Chief Operating Officer.
